3M came to Street Factory to design and build a fun way to promote recycling at the 3M Open. Through ideation and concepting, we thought up a few golf-inspired ideas to reimagine their trash and recycling bins.

Our ideas included a Rube Goldberg machine that followed the pathways of a golf course and another concept that played off the typical ball-washing station you find on the tee box. Ultimately, we landed on something much simpler for the final product.

Our final solution was to create custom golf ball packaging/sleeves for the specific bins. Each bin would have a slightly different design but feel cohesive under the 3M brand.
